Last year our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts hiked, camped, climbed, abseiled, kayaked, raced dragon boats, cycled, built fires, played games, shined shoes, played music and sang, did orienteering, pioneering, archery, wide games, sports, athletics, lots of good turns, scientific experiments, gardening, forestry, falconry, arts and crafts, backwoods cooking, knotting and lashing, used maps and compasses, took part in parades, quizzes, RESCUE and a swimming gala, made model aeroplanes, steam boats, turbines, survival shelters, hats, collages and cakes, visited Brownsea Island, The Discovery Centre, a farm, air museums, an apiary, a lifeboat station and the Coastguard, celebrated St George's Day, May Day, Chinese New Year and Christmas, learned about first aid, astronomy, safety in the home, survival skills, leadership and lots about themselves, had sleepovers, fireworks and parties, met Father Christmas, gained hundreds of badges 

and made lots of friends.

This year we'll also try something new!
