Our Scout Group
The 52nd Reading Scout Group was registered on 5th November 1925.
It is one of several Scout Groups in Reading Central Scout District over a hundred Scout Groups in Berkshire and one of thousands of Groups in the UK.
Our Scout Group has three sections which boys and girls can join:
A Beaver Scout Colony (ages 6 to 8 years)
A Cub Scout Pack (ages 8 to 10½ years)
A Scout Troop (ages 10½ to 14 years)
Adult volunteers lead each section and they are supported by a Group Scout Leader and Group Executive Committee.
Young people aged 14 years or over are able to join an Explorer Scout Unit.
