To empower more young people through adventure, teamwork and shared values, to take the lead on making a positive difference in the world. And to make friends and have a bit of fun along the way, of course!
We are 52nd Reading
... a dynamic and thriving Scout Group based at the Reading Scout and Guide HQ in the south of the town. Our members are young people between the ages of 6 and 18 and adult volunteers of all ages! Everyone’s welcome here - all genders, races, faiths, backgrounds and abilities. There’s a Scout adventure here waiting for you - and we’ll help you find it! Whether you're a parent looking for your child to try something new, or a young person in Reading ready for adventure, we'd love to hear from you.

Get Involved
For young people aged 6 to 18, we help them explore the outdoors, build skills, and have fun every week. For over 18s, we give you the opportunity to help them do it! 🐿️ NEW Squirrels section for 4-6 year olds coming this Autumn 🐿️
